Thanks so much for the kind welcome. :) This place does have a very different 'feel' than livejournal did... I am almost thinking that i might actually make some friends and have meaningful interactions, here. It's a hope that has been dormant for a long time, so we shall see what comes of it.
Joseph Campbell had a huge impact on my world view... Though I haven't read very many of his books, as of yet, what I've read has been profound and liberating. His words have given me hope that I can still interact with the archetypal myths of existence, and permission to find my own interpretation, or create my own mythology. Though, i have other difficulties with actually -doing- so... :)
I am fascinated by your journal, though I am a latecomer and not yet fully aware of what is going on. On a more-or-less pertinent personal note, I used to be multiple/fragmented, though i don't really remember much of what that was like. I think there is power in dissociative states, and sometimes i wish i could liberate myself enough to explore them freely, without worry about the ramifications.
Ah, here i go rambling on again. Apologies.
And, btw.. you don't sound stuffy at all to me. :)
