Brief hello post..

silereI am moving here following friends fleeing livejournal after the recent fiasco involving LJ abandoning member privacy for popularity with twitter and facebook... i am contemplating porting my livejournal over.. and also contemplating not doing so, and starting with a clean slate here.
If i've added you recently, it's because your profiles or posts seem interesting, and/or we have mutual acquaintances. That, and i really don't know many people here yet. By no means am i expecting automatic add-backs, especially considering i have no content here yet for you to get a feel for what kind of person i am. Soon, i will make an intro post, or a bio, or some such tidbit. It may take me a few days to get used to the idea of moving here.. and i'm not sure yet if i'm leaving LJ entirely or not... probably not, unless my friends come here as well.
